Smart Driving Bus Parade 2017 successfully held

The Road Safety Council (RSC) and Traffic Kowloon West of the Hong Kong Police Force successfully held the Smart Driving Bus Parade 2017 this evening (December 20), starting at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza C.

The event was officiated by the Chief Superintendent of Police Traffic Branch Headquarters, Hong Kong Police Force, Mr Martin Cadman; Superintendent of Police, Traffic Kowloon West, Hong Kong Police Force, Mr Hung Hin-kau; the Deputy Regional Commander, Kowloon West of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Mr Jacky Lau; the Chairman of the Yau Tsim Mong Road Safety Campaign Organising Committee, Mr Hau Wing-cheong; the Chairman of the Sham Shui Po District Road Safety Campaign Committee, Mr Cheng Muk-lam; the Vice Chairlady of the Kowloon City District Road Safety Campaign Committee, Ms Lam Suet-mui; the Chapter Director of the Harley Owners Group Hong Kong Chapter, Mr Mark Szeto; and the Promotion Officer Kowloon West of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Ms Tse Suet-sum.

After a bus lighting ceremony, the guests took an open-top bus through the Tsim Sha Tsui area to distribute road safety leaflets to deliver the "No Drug and No Drink Driving" message to road users. Some Harley-Davidson motorcycles were also exhibited at the venue.
