Sau Mau Ping Road Safety Town Children Fun Day successfully held

The Road Safety Council (RSC) and Kowloon East Traffic Headquarters of the Hong Kong Police Force jointly held a Children Fun Day this morning (January 20) in Sau Mau Ping Road Safety Town.

Messages on road safety were successfully disseminated to the public through fun-filled game booths. The ceremony featured music and marching performances by Fukien Secondary School Marching Band, a singing performance by Lok Sin Tong Man Ng Wing Yee Kindergarten, a drama performance by Hong Kong Kindergarten Association Pre-School, a reading performance by Beverly Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten, an artistic cycling demonstration by the Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps Bicycle Demonstration Team (Youth Team) and a rope skipping performance by the Hong Kong Rope Skipping Federation, China.

Today's ceremony was officiated by the Chairlady of the Road Safety Campaign Committee of the RSC, Ms Rebecca Ma; the Regional Commander of Kowloon East Region of the Hong Kong Police Force, Ms Cheung Ching; Senior Superintendent of Police of Traffic Kowloon East of the Hong Kong Police Force Mr Paul Grove; the Chairman of the Traffic and Transport Committee of the Kwun Tong District Council, Ms So Lai-chun; Members of the Traffic and Transport Committee of the Kwun Tong District Council Mr Wong Chun-ping and Mr Jimmy Chan; the Kowloon East Regional Commander of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Mr Samson Chu; and the Sau Mau Ping Regional Commander of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Ms Sophia Lee.
