Driving Safety in all conditions

On wet roads

Slow down, leave plenty of following distance. Your allowance for braking distance should be at least doubled. Brake gently to avoid wheels lock up.

On Dazzling lights

Wear sunglasses in daytime and make use of the sun visors. Switch on the headlights and remove the sunglasses when driving through tunnel. Keep the windows clean.

On burst tyres

Hold the steering wheel tight. Do not brake suddenly; ease off the accelerator. Let the vehicle slow down and brake gently to a complete stop. Look into the direction of travel and turn the steering wheel. Turn on the hazard warning lights and pull off to the roadside as soon as possible when safe.
