The Road Safety Council’s main source of funding is the Government.

Maximising Resources

For the 2015-2016 financial year, the Government allocated HK$3.74 million to the Council for education and publicity programmes, via the Transport and Housing Bureau. Our Road Safety Campaign Committee (the Committee) devises the work plan and ensures that resources are spent appropriately and effectively. The Committee also ensures that publicity activities meet design parameters and remain within budget. The Council is confident that, with its funding, a well-coordinated and effective action plan to promote road safety can be implemented across all areas of its remit.
