Drivers

Ensure that all doors are securely locked.
Check your passengers, if any, and yourself are properly fastened with the safety seat belt.
Connect the hand-free kit to your mobile phone.
Check carefully to ensure that there are no obstructions, children near the vehicle. Pay particular attention to the blind spots at the rear.
Signal if necessary before moving out. Move off only when you can do so safely without making other road users change speed or direction.

Pre-start routine
	Are all the doors properly closed?
	Is your driving seat in the right position?
	Are the mirrors clean and properly adjusted?
