Manoeuvring Skills

Keep your eyes scanning around: up ahead, from one side of the road to another, both the center and side mirrors. The scanning cycles should be carried out every 5 to 8 seconds.
Reversing – Make sure to choose the proper and safe place to reverse, for larger vehicles (such as articulated vehicles), reverse only under the assistance of a ground personnel who could clearly observe the traffic and give instructions to the driver.
Before turning, slow down to a speed that would allow the driver to complete the turn without stopping. Start return steering and speed up in the middle of the turn.
If loss of traction occurs when turning, do not brake. Ease off the accelerator to regain traction and speed up gradually afterwards.
